Athlete of the Week returns for the spring season on Wednesday, April 22, spotlighting top athletes in track and field, tennis, baseball, and softball.

Presque Isle battled top-seed Cony but fell 63-51 in the Class B quarterfinal. Kason Bua scored 14 points and the Wildcats finished the season 10-10.

As Aroostook County's Spring Sports Season kicks off, it's time to celebrate the student-athletes who inspire us with their dedication, both on the field and in the classroom. Athlete of the Week nominations are now open for all spring sports and activities held through May 3!

The two high school hockey teams in Aroostook County faced off at the Forum in Presque Isle on Tuesday night as the hometown Wildcats hosted the Houlton/Hodgdon/GHCS Blackhawks.

The Maine High School Basketball season opened up over the weekend and teams are back competing for a gold ball for the first time since 2019-20 season. Last year teams were put into regional leagues and only played teams within their counties, regardless of class.

The boys' soccer team from Wisdom took a trip down to Bangor on Saturday to take on the #1 seed Bangor Christian Patriots in the semi-final round. Wisdom picked up the early morning win and have advanced to the Class D Northern Maine Regional Final to be played on Tuesday in Presque Isle.
