American Idol alum Josh Gracin, who finished in fourth place on the second season of the hit reality show, recently lost half of his music rights in an embroiled divorce battle.

Josh Gracin was taken to a hospital after family and police tracked him down last week. The singer had written what many thought was a suicide note, posting it to his private and public Facebook pages on Aug. 14. Over the weekend, his team released a statement to fans.

Josh Gracin apologized to friends and family after writing what appeared to be a suicide note on Facebook Thursday afternoon. Police say the singer drove himself to a hospital after they caught up with him that evening, and he’s being evaluated by doctors.
