Credit Card Fraud

Businesses are being warned about the fraud, and reminded to use caution when conducting any transactions over the phone.

A 28-year-old from Miami, Florida, was sentenced Wednesday to 3½ years in prison and three years of supervised release for credit card fraud and aggravated identity theft.

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a credit card fraud and has obtained pictures of a person of interest.
