A Madawaska couple have been charged with operating a methamphetamine lab inside their home at 507 Main St.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Tuesday night arrested  two Bronx, New York men and three Hancock County residents following an investigation into the sale of heroin and cocaine base “crack” in Hancock County.

A Biddeford woman has been arrested for selling heroin - as part of an on-going state wide effort focused on the distribution of heroin.

MDEA reports two meth labs are being dismantled today in Fort Fairfield and in Troy. That brings the total to 107 responses this year in Maine.
