Aroostook State Park

Watching the sunrise can be both peaceful and breathtaking, especially when you're surrounded by a magnificent landscape. With many lakes, rivers and mountains, along with a spectacular coastline, Maine has many locations that are perfect for taking in a beautiful sunset.

The trail conditions in Aroostook State Park were slippery with snow and leaf cover, said Wardens.

It all takes place at Echo Lake at Aroostook State Park, Saturday from 10 to 3.

According to the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club's Facebook page, a beloved moose sled was recently stolen, or borrowed, from the folks at the Aroostook State Park.

The Aroostook State Park started in 1938 and is Maine’s first state park. The Double Eagle II Memorial Park is a must-see. It's open year around and is a must on your County Bucket List.
