Aroostook River Fun Run

Organizers said they look forward to seeing you next year on the third weekend in May, May 15th, 2021.

What began 12 years ago as a partnership between the Presque Isle and Washburn Rotary Clubs, to celebrate the Aroostook River, is now set to kick off again.

The Aroostook River Fun Run has grown over the years so that it not only includes the traditional fun paddling down the river, but has options for runners, walkers and bikers as well.

Come explore the natural beauty of the Aroostook River in Presque Isle! Test your endurance at the 8th Annual Aroostook River Fun Run! It happens on Saturday, May 16th with registration beginning at 8 a.m. A mass start will take place at the Washburn public landing at 10 a.m.

Get ready to have some fun on the water this coming weekend in Presque Isle! The Aroostook River Fun Run canoe and kayak race, an eight-mile fla-twater event from Washburn to Presque Isle, takes place on Saturday, May 17th!

Time to dig out that canoe or kayak, dust off that bike, or lace up those running shoes and prepare for the 2014 Aroostook River Fun Run.

It's that time of the year again when Washburn and Presque Isle Rotarians team up for the Aroostook River Fun Run, set to take place on May 18, 2013. Proceeds this year will benefit area Girl Scouts who assist as volunteers on race day.
