4th of July celebrations in Northern Maine and beyond!

The annual fireworks show draws about 50,000 Mainers from all over the state who come and watch the 4th of July show which is accompanied by music from the Portland Symphony Orchestra.

What's more American than being towed behind a lobster boat while you chug beer and shoot fireworks all while waving Old Glory? I can't think of much. These lobstermen took a break from bringing up the delicious lobsters to celebrate America in true Maine fashion...

The long Independence Day weekend will be the backdrop for 4 days of fun at the Houlton Agricultural Fair with events kicking off Friday, July 1st.

If you've never been to Houlton to celebrate the 4th of July, you're in for a real treat! Houlton really does the holiday in a big way! The Houlton Agricultural Fair happens over the 4thof July holiday every year, bringing young and old back to the area to celebrate. This year's fair runs from Thursday, July 2nd through Sunday, July 5th.

On Saturday, July 4, 2015, Presque Isle Elks, Lodge #1954, will host its tenth consecutive July 4th Community Celebration at Riverside Park in Presque Isle.
