The University of Maine at Fort Kent’s Summer Theatre will be holding open auditions for its summer 2019 production.

Now in its twelfth season, the summer theatre company will be putting on the Shakespeare play, "Richard III." This Shakespearean work describes the rise to power and subsequent short reign of King Richard III of England. Richard is described as charismatic, funny, and completely shameless.

Age, experience or gender doesn't matter. All are welcome to audition for a role. Backstage, technical and production volunteers are also being sought.

“Richard III” will be performed from Thursday, July 25 through Sunday, July 28.
