Storm Closings & Cancellations for Tuesday, December 3rd
A winter storm warning is posted Tuesday across much of northern Maine and New Brunswick with 8 - 12 inches of snow expected. Here are the latest storm closings:
Due to the winter storm & the concerned safety of our employees & customers being on the roads, Hillside IGA, Mars Hill IGA, & Star City IGA will all be closing today at 6 PM. We apologize for any inconveniences & thank you in advance for your understanding. We will reopen tomorrow morning at 7 AM.
The County Federal Credit Union will be closing at 3:00PM.
All Katahdin Trust Company branches will close early today. Eagle Lake Closing at-1:00pm. All other Katahdin Trust branches closing at 3:00 p.m.

Presque Isle Public Library - CLOSED at 1 p.m.
Courts in Presque Isle, Caribou & Houlton are closed Tuesday

Northern Maine Community College is CLOSED. (inc. Husson & Wellness Center)
MSAD 42 (Mars Hill area) CLOSED at 11:00 this morning.
The Woodland School CLOSED at 11:15
MSAD 1 schools - dismissing at 11:30 a.m.
RSU 39 (Caribou, Stockholm) will be closing today at 11:30.
Ashland Community Schools - dismissing students at 11:30.
Easton School Department - dismissing at 11:30 a.m.
MSAD 20 (Fort Fairfield) - Early dismissal at 11:30.
Limestone Community Schools will be dismissing at 11:30 a.m.
Caswell School - Dismissing early at 11:30.
MSAD 45 Washburn schools are letting out at 11:30.
MSAD 24 Van Buren will be dismissing at 12 PM. All after school activities are cancelled.
UMPI will close at 12 pm today. All offices will be closed and all classes starting after noon are cancelled. This includes the Houlton Higher Education Center.
All schools in southern Aroostook County are closed today.
Region Two School of Applied Technology in Houlton – Closed
All schools in the Anglophone West School District (N.B.) will be closed Tuesday due to poor weather and road conditions.
NBCC Woodstock Campus will be closed today, Tuesday December 3rd, due to the snowfall warning.
River Valley Christian Academy (Nackawic) is closed today.
