State Police Investigating Discovery of Two Bodies

(AP) State police say they are investigating a pair of deaths in the Maine town of Winthrop.

The investigation was taking place on Monday. State police spokesman Steve McCausland says the bodies were found inside a home overnight.

Winthrop's local police are also investigating the deaths.

The bodies were found in a home on Pine Knoll Road, near Route 202.

Winthrop is located about eight miles west of Augusta, the state's capital city.
