Snowmobiling has always been something I’ve enjoyed. I mean, we live in the perfect place to really utilize the abundance of snow that we get each year.

I remember being 8 or 9 years old and riding snowmobiles with my brother and our cousins in the fields out behind our childhood home. What fun we had. We used to go riding as a family too. We’d all pile on the snowmobiles and ride to our favorite restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and have a fantastic meal. To me, that’s what snowmobiling is all about.

I also remember taking a snowmobile education course. It was a day long course that my mom and brother took along side me.

We often take safety for granted. We’re all about having fun and riding fast. But the fact is that you can learn a lot from taking a snowmobile safety course. And you’re in luck; there is one coming up in our area on December 20th and 21st.

That’s right; there will be a snowmobile safety course on Thursday and Friday night from 6pm to 9pm on December 201th and 21st at the Caribou Wellness & Recreation Center. It only costs $5, and just think of the knowledge that you’ll gain!

You’ll learn how to properly operate and maintain a snowmobile, the laws, responsibility, and personal safety.

Maybe you have a youngster who is eager to get on a snowmobile. Well, this might be just the place for him or her to learn.
