Snow Blower Races At County Snow Fest in Presque Isle? Who’s In?

The City of Presque Isle is set to host "County Snow Fest” this weekend with a full schedule of events running Friday the 28th through Sunday January 30.

Aroostook County Tourism and other organizations have partnered with the city to promote the beauty of the outdoors in Aroostook County during the winter months.

Will Old-man winter smile down on Snow Fest? 

There is potential for a storm system with double-digit amounts to hit the area over the coming weekend, County Winter Fest is coming at the right time. Some of the highlighted events are the chili and stew dinner with cash bar at the Sargent Family Community Center in Presque Isle, on Friday evening. On Saturday morning you can ride to the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club and join the snowmobile poker run. Sunday afternoon could be when the event of the weekend takes place at Riverside Park. Snow blower races will begin at 1:00. If we get the storm that some experts are watching, then those machines should be warmed up and ready to go!
