Speaking to Bangor's WABI-TV, Collins says she won't commit to that until she sees what comes out of a conference committee.

Collins is facing criticism back here at home for the tax plan that would provide big cuts for businesses and much less in the way of tax breaks for families and individuals. Police arrested nine people on Thursday who were protesting at her office in Portland.

Collins was part of the 51-49 majority vote after  her amendments property tax and medical deductions were inserted into the bill. She added that House and Senate leaders promised to remove the threat of a 4 percent cut to Medicare.
