Samaritan Stops Drunk Driver, Restrains Him Until Police Show Up
A man in Houston took the law into his own hands.
Alejandro Fernandez Favreau spotted a Ford Mustang swerving along the roadway last weekend and followed it to a parking lot where he yanked the drunk driver out of the vehicle and held him until police arrived on the scene.
The Mustang had been damaged after being involved in a crash.
The driver has been identified as Sirkon Ash, 28. He's been charged with driving while intoxicated. He has already been convicted twice of DWI.
Favreau, who says he has lost friends to drunk drivers, defended his actions in a Facebook post in which he recounted the harrowing incident.
