Rodney Atkins and fellow artist Rose Falcon are proof that sometimes, love finds you when you aren't looking for it.

Falcon, the daughter of singer-songwriter Billy Falcon and hairdresser Myla Falcon, tied the knot with Atkins on Nov. 10, 2013, in Captiva Island, Fla. It was the second marriage for Atkins and the first for Falcon, and the "It's America" hitmaker believes that his wife is truly a blessing from God.

“If I was planning that, there’s no way that that would have happened,” he reflects. “I really have gone into trying to figure out not my motives, not what my plans are, but what am I doing here? Like, when things go crazy and you go through struggles in your life, and you kind of leave that door open for God, like, ‘God, what do you got in store for me?’”

Apparently, God had a beautiful, talented woman in store for Atkins.

“What she’s brought into my life is unbelievable," he says. "It’s just complete peace of mind of what love’s supposed to be.”

There were 20 guests in attendance at Atkins and Falcon's wedding, and Atkins' son Elijah served as the best man. In a touching gesture, Charles Hutchins -- founder of the Holston United Methodist Home for Children, where Atkins spent his infancy prior to being adopted -- was their wedding officiant.

“Wedding planning was difficult at times,” Falcon tells Country Weekly. Falcon's mom passed away when Falcon was four years old, and, the singer continues, “I missed my mom more than ever! I could have really used her help, but it all ended up turning out almost ridiculously perfect. It was a great wedding and a great day, but the best part is not getting married, it’s being married to such an amazing man.”

Though they weren't able to have a honeymoon due to tour plans, the couple insists, “Our life is a honeymoon."

Post-wedding, Falcon has opened up even more about marriage: She calls it "awesome" and says, "I enjoy having one really good friend that I get to spend all my time with. I'm a one-on-one person, and I really prefer sitting in a room face-to-face, instead of a group, so being married is the perfect scenario for me since I have a partner to do everything with."

In late 2017, Atkins and Falcon welcomed their first child together, a boy named Ryder; their second son, Scout, arrived in 2019. Here's to many more years of married bliss!
