Grab the kids and take the ultimate scenic pumpkin train ride in Hancock!

Just a personal opinion, but fall is my favorite time of the year. Crisp days, football, and of course, amazing foliage. There are people in many parts of the country that don't get to experience the beauty of the changing of the seasons in Maine, so I consider myself very lucky.

The Downeast Scenic Railroads Annual Pumpkin Train includes a ride which stops at the Pumpkin Patch. Families can get off the train and chose a Pumpkin for the kiddos. Once back on board, staff members will hand out Pumpkin decorating stickers and FREE snacks. This is great Family event, so make sure you book early.

The Downeast Scenic Railroad was named Best Day Trip in this year’s poll of Down East Magazine readers’ favorites.
