Reward Offered in Castle Hill Double Homicide Investigation

The Maine State Police are asking for help from the public as they continue to investigate a double homicide in Castle Hill, just west of Mapleton.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the person or persons involved in the shooting deaths of 51-year-old Roger Ellis and 25-year-old Allen Curtis and any information related to the crime.

The victims were found inside Ellis' pickup truck on the State Road in Castle Hill in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 13.

State Police say information that leads to an arrest and prosecution of the homicides will be eligible for a $2,000 reward through Aroostook County Crime Stoppers.
