Red’s Dairy Freeze Puts Googly Eyeballs on Ice Cream and It’s Pretty Damn Adorable

Maybe it's lack of sleep, maybe it's my 8-year old sense of humor, or maybe it's just really that funny, but I saw a photo of a Red's Dairy Freeze ice cream cone with a pair of googly eyes and it sent me into a cry-laughing fit.

Red's Dairy Freeze is a seasonal ice cream shop in South Portland known for their stellar soft serve. They jazz up their cones with eyeballs and somehow it makes the ice cream look like a little creature with feelings. I almost feel bad for eating my chocolate-vanilla twist when it's staring back at me with it's adorable candy coated eyes. Still, I'll be there ordering my ice cream before they close for the season.
