BINGO! or rather, "Book Bingo!" How fun is this?! The Newport Cultural Center Public Library and Historical Society Museum is kicking off their summer reading program beginning July 1st.

Age Requirements and Other Details for This Maine Reading Program

This is NOT exclusively for children and students. There will be categories for children, teens, and adults! The summer reading program "Book Bingo" will open for registration on Monday, July 1st at 11am.

You can swing by The Newport Cultural Center Public Library and Historical Society Museum and pick up a bingo card. Don't forget to ask what prizes you can win just for reading. Remember, you are already a winner every time you pick up a book to read.

Other Events Taking Place This Month at The Newport Cultural Center in Maine

Here are some other events happening in July at The Newport Cultural Center Public Library and Historical Society Museum. Similar to Book Bingo, most programs require pre-registration this year. Pre-registration will also start July 1st with summer reading program registration.

Summer programs for July are:

KindKids Music concert will take place July 12th at the Riverwalk from 1pm until 2pm.

Creature Feature with the Maine Discovery Museum will feature live animals to view and touch on July 17th from 11am until 12:30pm.

Don't miss a performance by Tickles the Clown on July 19th from 10am until 11am

Murder She Told (adult program) will take place on July 26th at 6pm until 7pm.
