
RCMP Investigating Break, Enter & Thefts in Cottages in Western N.B.
The RCMP West District is investigating a rash of break, enter and thefts that occurred in cottages in Saint-Joseph, Saint-Basile, and Rivière-Verte between July 18 and 26.
According to police, several items were stolen, amongst them:
- several rifles, including one Mossberg and one Savage;
- three chain saws (one Pioneer, one McCulloch, and one Homelite);
- a 1988 Yamaha brown all-terrain vehicle;
- a Husqvarna whipper snipper;
- a rare Alpine beer wooden sign;
- a Stihl brush cutter (model 520);
- a wood stove fan Max 812;
- a 2000 Hyundai generator.
