The Oromocto RCMP has released photos of two men involved in an armed robbery February 7 at Canadian Tire on Miramichi Road in Oromocto, New Brunswick. 

Police are looking for help from the public to identify the individuals. The incident occurred in the evening around 8 p.m. An employee was threatened with a knife. The RCMP said no one was injured in the robbery.

Multiple items were stolen including:

  • Four Stanley STMT75078 Black Chrome Socket Sets, 70 pieces each
  • Two MAXIMUM Professional Grade Ratcheting Wrench Sets, 24 pieces each
  • Two MAXIMUM 1/2-inch Drive Socket Sets, 45 pieces each
  • One MAXIMUM 3/8-inch Professional Grade Impact Socket Set, 32 pieces
  • One MAXIMUM Professional Grade Ratcheting Wrench Set, 30 pieces

The two men drove away in a black 2006-2012 Toyota Corolla.

The first person is described as a man with a heavy build, standing between 180 centimeters (five foot eleven inches) and 182 centimeters (six foot tall). The RCMP believe he is in his thirties and speaks English with no accent. He was wearing beige pants and a plaid coat with a blue baseball hat. He also had a disposable facemask on.

The second person is described as a man with a thin build, standing between 172 centimeters (five foot eight inches) and 180 centimeters (five foot eleven inches tall). The RCMP said he also spoke English without an accent. He is believed to be in his twenties. He was wearing dark jeans, a camouflage coat, and a black baseball hat. He also had a disposable facemask.
