Maine State Police say 53-year-old Thomas Feezell of Lincoln was driving west in a 2006 Western Star Tractor Trailer shortly after 3 p.m. when the truck’s front right tire blew out. The rig struck a guardrail near the Emery Road intersection and went into the ditch.

Feezell sustained minor injuries in the crash but was not transported to the hospital, police said. The truck had significant damage and had to be towed from the scene.

Sergeant Jeffrey Clark was the investigating officer. State police say there was damage to the guardrail and the truck was leaking oil into the ditch. The Maine Department of Transportation and Maine Department of Environmental Protection responded to the scene.
