Missing Pre-school Boy In Hampden Found ‘Seriously Injured’ In Neighbor’s Yard
Tense moments in Hampden Monday morning, as folks along the Kennebec Rd. were on high alert, folks frantically searching for a child who had gone missing from a local pre-school there.
According to Hampden Public Safety, Hampden Police were called to the Highland Preschool at 29 Kennebec Rd. just before noon on Monday, for the report of a 4-year-old boy who had gone missing.
"Upon arrival, the child had been located at a nearby residence. The child was seriously injured and required medical attention. Hampden Ambulance was immediately called and emergency personnel arrived quickly."
Authorities are not saying how the child was injured, or to what extent, at the moment. They do say the boy was immediately transported to Northern Light EMMC for medical treatment.
No further information is being released at this time. We will update this story when more details are released.
