Police Investigating after Body Found in River in Maine
Police are investigating after a body was found in the Penobscot River in Greenbush on Sunday afternoon.
Body Found in River
The body was discovered in the water off Main Road around 2:25 pm.
Body Recovered from Water
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office, Maine Warden Service, and Maine State Police recovered the body from the waterway.
Ongoing Investigation
The Penobscot County Criminal Investigation Division was conducting the investigation. The body was transported to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta.
