One Person Killed in Central Maine Collision
ETNA, Maine (AP) — Officials say one person was killed when two vehicles collided on Route 2 in Etna.
Penobscot County Sheriff's Department deputies say a woman who was driving one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriff Troy Morton tells WABI-TV that the two vehicles collided late Friday afternoon at the crest of a hill. Identities were not immediately released.
A reconstruction team was called to the scene Friday, and Route 2 was closed for four hours.
