According to the KJ, one man is dead and another suffered wounds in a Wednesday morning altercation in the small town of Somerville, Maine.

The incident, which took place at 1041 Rockland Road (Route 17) was reported to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department just after 10 AM on Wednesday (June 30th) morning.

The injured man, whose injuries reportedly came from the altercation, was taken from Valley Road in Jefferson by ambulance.  He was found about two miles away from the Rockland Road location.  There is no word on how serious his injuries are.

According to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss, the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating.

The identities of the two men were not released.
