Shortly after the start of the new year, the Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce will have a new director.

LaNiece Sirois will assume the role of Executive Director on January 7, 2019. The Chamber Board believes that Sirois’ experiences in strategic planning, policy development, and collaboration will be instrumental in moving the Chamber to a new level in community involvement.

Sirois comes to her new job with over twenty years of municipal, human resource, and workforce development experience. Chamber President for the upcoming 2019 year, Sherry Sullivan, stated "we are excited to have LaNiece’s years of experience serving as a coordinator for community and civic organization events."

Sirois currently serves as President of the Northeast Society for Human Resource Managers (NESHRM) and is an active member of the Presque Isle Kiwanis Club.

The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce has been without an Executive Director since mid July.
