Country singers tend to be a lot more down-to-earth than the stars of most other music genres, but that doesn't mean they don't know how to enjoy the money they've made. Some of your favorite country stars live in some pretty jaw-dropping mansions that you have to see to believe — with some very steep price tags attached.
Alan Jackson built a massive, stately Southern manor that is based on Tara from Gone With the Wind after he became one of country music's biggest stars, and that does not come cheap. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill bought an actual historic manor set on some pretty amazing grounds, and as you can imagine, they paid top dollar.
A country-rocker's California mansion is mind-blowingly beautiful and costly, while some of country music's younger generation of superstars are living the big life when they are home from the road, and paying a premium for it.

No. 10: Miranda Lambert ($3.4 Million)
Miranda Lambert lives on a 400-acre, beautiful rural estate in Tennessee that includes three residences, a lake with a boathouse and a six-car garage. It's nestled on 75 acres of fenced-in land that includes lighted trails through the woods that lead to a pavilion, with seating for 60 for private musical performances.
No. 9: Reba McEntire ($5 Million)
Reba McEntire and her former husband, Narvel Blackstock, lived the good life in a 13,000-square foot mansion settled on 83 acres in Lebanon, Tenn. The house featured seven bedrooms and bathrooms, an eight-car garage and a barn with five stalls, as well as a full equestrian facility with 16 stalls, a pool, tennis court, guest house, hot tub, spa, elevator and more top amenities. After the couple divorced in 2015, McEntire put the property on the market, and it eventually sold for $5 million. It was purchased by a developer who has turned it into a luxury event space.
No. 8: Miley Cyrus ($5.8 Million)
Miley Cyrus purchased her country-chic farmhouse in the Nashville suburb of Franklin, Tenn., in 2017, and it's a rural palace. The massive house sits on 33 acres, and the interior features hardwood floors and exposed wood beams, while other amenities include an in-ground swimming pool, elevator, walk-in closets and wet bar. The property also boasts an enormous barn, and Cyrus paid just under $6 million for it.
No. 7: Brian Kelley ($6.24 Million)
Florida Georgia Line singer Brian Kelley and his wife Brittney live on a 70-acre rural estate that includes three homes, a party barn, a saloon and the famous treehouse recording studio that Treehouse Masters installed for him. They put the property on the market for $6.24 million in 2017, but removed the listing when the couple decided to make it their forever home.

No. 6: Tammy Wynette ($7 Million)
Tammy Wynette’s former beach house in Jupiter, Fla., is a lavish home fit for the Queen of Country Music. The 6400-square-foot mansion features six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, patio and indoor pool, as well as walking access to the beach. The most recent owners asked for $7 million for the spectacular property.
No. 5: Jason Aldean ($7,875,000)
Jason Aldean lived large is in a castle-like rural estate in the rural Nashville suburb of Columbia, Tenn. The 8,900-square-foot mansion sits on 120 acres and features stone and exposed beams, as well as an actual semi-circular turret in the front of the house. The mansion boasts six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, its own bowling alley, wet bar, wine cellar and more. The grounds feature a creek and a large barn with horse stalls, along with a built-in outdoor grilling area. Aldean and his wife, Brittany, sold it for $8.75 million in 2018 and began building the dream home where they plan to raise their children.
No. 4: Glenn Frey ($14,995,000)
Eagles founding member Glenn Frey lived in a 9,000-square-foot Spanish-style mansion in Los Angeles. The six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home features plaster walls, wide-board wood and stone floors, three fireplaces, two family rooms and an entertainer's basement with a separate bar and home theater. The lush private grounds include rose gardens, a tiled pool and spa, a fitness center and a cabana. The property was listed for $14.995 million in November 2017 after his death in 2016.
No. 3: Rayna Jaymes' Mansion From Nashville ($17,999,999)
The massive Nashville-area mansion that served as Rayna Jaymes' home on Nashville is an opulent 20,533-square-foot mansion with six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and three half-bathrooms. It incorporates a number of rare, one-of-a kind artifacts and includes a stacked stone entryway with a floating spiral staircase, a porte cochere, a climate-controlled cellar that holds 3,000 bottles of wine and dining space for more than 50 guests. It was most recently listed for just under $18 million.
No. 2: Tim McGraw and Faith Hill ($18 million)
Faith Hill and Tim McGraw bought a piece of history when they purchased their rural Tennessee manor home. The log-built 3,152-square-foot house dates back to 1800 and features three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a master suite with fireplace and an eat-in kitchen. There are six fireplaces, and the house has been updated to include central air. The 622-acre property boasts a 12-stall stable, a barn and separate storage building, two caretaker homes, a restored log cabin and two guest houses, and was most recently listed for $18 million.
No. 1: Alan Jackson ($28 million)
Alan Jackson takes the prize for the most expensive country star mansion ever (that we know of). The country superstar custom-built a 18,622-square-foot antebellum mansion called Sweetbriar, whose amenities included a large formal dining room, a formal living room, a family room with 22 ft. ceilings, a gourmet kitchen and a glass-enclosed porch. There are four bedroom suites, an exercise room and nanny quarters, a game room, home theater and a custom pub, as well as a massive garage that once housed Jackson's extensive car collection. The house sold for $28 million when Jackson and his wife decided to downsize.
