Codiac Regional RCMP have arrested a 20-year-old Moncton woman wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for first degree murder and arson.

Police had been searching for Marissa Shephard in connection with the violent death of 18-year-old Baylee Wylie on December 17, 2015.

Shephard was arrested at around 12:30 p.m.Tuesday near the intersection of Shediac Road and Lewisville Road in Moncton, police say. A man and a woman, who were with Shephard at the time, were also arrested.

Police say they received a tip from a member of the public which led to the arrests.

The three were charged in Moncton Provincial Court on Wednesday. Shephard remains behind bars.

Twenty-two-year-old Stephen Nagle, and 32-year-old Krystle Dawn Toole, both of Moncton, have been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder. They have both been remanded into custody.

Two 18-year-old Moncton men, Tyler Noel and Devin Morningstar, have already been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in Wylie's death.
