Michael Ray and Carly Pearce are officially a married couple! The country singers wed on Sunday (Oct. 6) in Tennessee before a group of family and friends.

According to People, the pair tied the knot at Drakewood Farms, a 40-acre venue about 15 miles north of downtown Nashville featuring a 19th-century mansion, three barns and a pavilion. Although originally planning for an outdoor wedding, Mother Nature had other ideas, and rain took the wedding into one of the barns.

Pearce wore an unusual, non-traditional gown designed by Samantha Sleeper featuring long sleeves, a high neck, and a sheer lace skirt. The ceremony was officiated by Bill Cody, a country radio DJ and announcer at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry, reflecting the couple's love for traditional country.

“We fell in love because of our love of classic country music and '90s country and the Grand Ole) Opry, and Bill Cody from [legendary radio station] WSM is marrying us for that real reason,” Pearce told Taste of Country during a recent interview.  “We feel like it’s our duty to position ourselves in that light. We want to be remembered and we want to be a couple that had an impact on country music."

Guests feasted on such goodies as shrimp and grits and enjoyed a make-your-own burger station. There were reportedly not too many famous faces in the crowd, but Jake Owen was enlisted to deliver the first dance song, "Made For You."

The newlyweds now share an anniversary date with yet another famous country couple, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, who celebrated their 23rd anniversary the same day.

Pearce and Ray dated for several months before going public with their romance in July of 2018. They announced their engagement in December.

How'd They Get Together, Anyways?

"The man of my dreams got down on one knee earlier this week and asked me to be his wife," she posted to social media alongside photos of the proposal and her ring. "@Michaelraymusic you are the most precious example of God's timing & His love for me. WE ARE GETTIN MARRIED, BABY!"

"All in one simple 'yes,' I said 'yes; to love, 'yes' to peace, 'yes' to faithfulness, 'yes' to respect, 'yes' to kindness, 'yes' to trust, 'yes' to patience and 'yes' to never settling," she wrote on Instagram. "Michael, I would've married you the first night we hung out because I knew then you were the one."
