Two New Brunswick men were arrested last week after Grand-Falls RCMP executed a search warrant at a home in Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska.

Police discovered an indoor marijuana grow operation at the home on Monday, March 10th. 18 marijuana plants, a quantity of dried marijuana, growing equipment, and other drug paraphernalia was seized from the home.

RCMP say the plants could have potentially produced up to 9,000 marijuana joints.

A 42-year-old man and a 44-year-old man, both from Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, were arrested and later released on conditions. They are scheduled to appear in Edmundston Provincial Court again on July 9, 2014.
