Police arrested Rodney Stever of Aldouane on Wednesday, October 14. A search warrant was executed at his residence the following day, and RCMP say they recovered stolen goods, along with marijuana and pills believed to be amphetamines.

The arrest follows an investigation into four break-and-enters into commercial buildings, garages, and vehicles along Route 134 in Rexton and Galloway, which occurred between October 9 and October 12. Police say the items stolen included vehicle batteries and tools.

Stever appeared in court on October 15 on charges including theft, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of more than 30 grams of cannabis. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six months in jail. He was also ordered to pay $294 in restitution.
