St. George RCMP responded Sunday to a report that two males were trying to break into a cottage on Lake Utopia. The suspects fled into the woods before police arrived, after being confronted by the cottage owners, according to Corporal Dan Smith.

The RCMP investigation determined another nearby cottage had been broken into as well. A search of the area was conducted and a 17-year-old male and a 28-year-old man were arrested in connection with the break and enters.

Both were released on a promise to appear in Saint John Provincial Court at a later date.
