Maine Woman Has Died From Burns She Received in Fire Earlier in the Month

A 60-year-old Kenduskeag woman died from burns she received in a fire at her mobile home on November 15th, said the State Fire Marshal’s Office.

Cheryl Bassett was seriously burned in the fire that started in her living room at 50 2nd Street. The mobile home was destroyed by the blaze.

The exact cause of the fire is under investigation, said Stephen McCausland, Maine Public Safety Spokesman.
