If you are using this as your password “123456,” watch out because you and about 4.5 million other people are pretty much begging to be hacked, according to NordPress.
How do we know this?
The password people at NordPass, put out a study of the most overused passwords of 2023 and let’s just say, it’s honestly a miracle that half of the whole entire internet hasn’t already been completely wiped clean.

Here are the top passwords that will get you hacked
Here are some of their favorites.. “admin,” “password,” and my personal favorite, “12345678910.”
Because clearly, someone out there thinks adding two extra numbers would definitely throw off the criminals.

Guys, even this “********” made the list.
People are using that as the password and I can't even.

Self-awareness if important. I mean, unless your cool with some rando in another state watching your Netflix or using your Only Fans.
"The NordPass study showed that 86% of cyberattacks use stolen credentials, and online accounts, emails and passwords make up almost 20% of the most commonly sold items on the dark web."
So what should you do if your password sucks and is super hackable?
Make your passwords long and difficult to uncrack, like novel long, according to the study.
Make sure to add in letters, numbers, and special characters, or even a riddle? Or you can switch it to a passkey so your face or fingerprint can unlock it.
Because if your password is easier to guess then the April weather in Maine, it’s time to level up and secure your life better.
And for the love of Maine, stop using the word PASSWORD!
