A Unity Maine man is in jail after members of the State Police Computer Crimes Unit and Homeland Security searched his apartment and seized his tablet.

According to the report, authorities searched the home of 57-year old Scott Tedesco at 596B Albion Road Wednesday morning and seized a tablet after an initial search revealed dozens of sexually explicit images of children under the age of 12.

Tedesco was arrested at his place of employment in Pittsfield without incident and was transported to the Waldo County Jail where he is being held in lieu of $500 bail.

He is being charged with one count of possession of sexually explicit materials.

Should Tedesco post bail, he is to have no contact with any child under 16-years of age and is prohibited from having access to the internet.
