Kids Learn Collage Art at Woodstock Recreation

Collage is a work of art in which materials such as paper, cloth, or found materials are put together on a surface.  Woodstock Recreation session students will be able to explore textures and pattern and learn about composition and touch on abstract art in upcoming May sessions.

At Ayr Motor Center at 105 Connell Park Road in Woodstock, Woodstock Recreation will talk about the Principles of Design in collages, including contrast, balance, repetition, and more.

This session students will play with Japanese papers, found papers and anything they choose to find themselves.

The dates are each Sunday in May except the 8th: May 1st, 15th, 22nd and 29th.

• Session time and cost for ages 5-7 years:
  1pm-2pm
  $70 with all artist supplies included.
• Session time and cost for ages 8 and up:
  2:30pm-4:30 pm
  $100 with all artist quality supplies included.
