Kayla Hanson Turns Herself in to the Caribou Court
Presque Isle Police said 19-year-old Kayla Hanson from Presque Isle turned herself in to the Caribou Court.
Hanson was wanted for Hindering Apprehension of Prosecution, Falsifying Physical Evidence and three counts of violation on conditions of release related to the September 9th shooting on Northern Road in Presque isle.
Hanson was bailed out and will be under house arrest at her mother’s residence 24/7 as part of a number of conditions for her release. Her mother will be her custodian until trial, said Presque Isle Chief of Police Laurie J Kelly.
Bail conditions include no contact with Melanie Davenport or Shelby Richardson, said PIPD.

31-year-old Jomo White of Atlanta, Georgia, 26-year-old Brittany Britton and 44-year-old Jason Alexander remain in custody. White is facing a charge of attempted murder. White & Britton have been charged with elevated aggravated assault and aggravated reckless conduct.
The early morning shooting, September 9th, and the subsequent manhunt forced the closure of schools in Presque Isle and some businesses in the Skyway Industrial Park area. The victim is said to be recovering from critical injuries at a Bangor hospital. His name has not been released.
Additional charges against others involved may be possible, said PIPD.
The investigation is ongoing.
