Josiah Dyer, 20 years old, is making a strong impression locally and across the country music world with a voice that sounds far beyond his years.
Blending traditional country with a fresh, modern edge rooted in his hometown of Charleston, Maine, Josiah has been a musician since the age of 11. He has spent years refining his craft as a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, earning vocal and songwriting awards in both Maine and Tennessee.

The producers of American Idol invited Josiah to audition in front of the show’s celebrity judges, Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Carrie Underwood.
Known as the ‘Class of 2026,' the season features auditions that took place in late 2025. The upcoming season is set to premiere on Monday, January 26th, on ABC, will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest, and will stream the following day on Hulu.
