Sugarland member and solo artist Jennifer Nettles will kick off the 2019 Kentucky Derby with a performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner." Nettles will perform the National Anthem around 5PM ET, ahead of the 145th Kentucky Derby, on May 4. Her performance will be broadcast on NBC before the legendary horse race officially begins.

In celebration of country legend Randy Travis' 60th birthday, the Grand Ole Opry will throw a music-filled party. Travis will make a special appearance at the event, set for May 4, which will also feature performances from Josh Turner, Charlie Worsham and Charles Esten. The event comes days before Travis is set to release Forever and Ever, Amen: A Memoir of Music, Faith, and Braving the Storms of Life on May 14.

Congratulations are in order for rising country artist Jillian Jacqueline, who recently tied the knot with her fiance Bryan Brown! According to People, the pair wed on April 27 in Nashville, at a ceremony attended by 150 guests. Jacqueline and Brown (who also played guitar in his now-wife's band)'s big day also featured performances from Charlie Worsham and Sarah Buxton, both friends of the couple.
