There are a variety of Irish pubs and bars across the Pine Tree State each with their own lively atmosphere and most likely a rich pint of Guinness waiting for you.
While these spots are incredible to visit on St. Patrick's Day, they are just as great to stop in whether it's a few days after the Irish holiday, on a warm summer day, or when you're looking for a brew on a crisp fall evening.
Surprisingly, a good majority of the Irish pubs and bars in Maine came around in the 2000s and 2010s, while one of the most recent openings came in 2022 with the Dunn Bar in Biddeford.
You've also got places like Ri Ra in Portland and Mulligan's in Biddeford that have been around for nearly 30 years, having first opened in the '90s.
