Hermon Hawks Vs. Presque Isle Wildcats

The Hermon Hawks were firing on all cylinders Saturday morning, rolling over the Presque Isle Wildcats for a quarterfinal win at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

Senior center Caitlynn Tracy  led the way to a 67-32 win for the No. 2 Hawks.

"I knew this could be my last game so I had to give it all I got," Tracy said after the game. That she did, finishing with 32 points.

Grace Page had 12 points for the Hawks. Paige Plissey added 10 points.

Hermon improves to 17-2 and have a date next week with the Waterville Purple Panthers in the semifinals.

The Hawks started quickly and never let up, holding a 36-14 lead at the half and extending the lead to 30 points after three quarters.

Madison Michaud led the Wildcats with 13 points. Freshman Faith Stoberg had 8 points.
