On Saturday afternoon, 42-year-old Kenneth Bragdon was hauling trees on his property on Buzzell Lane just off Route 202. According to State Trooper Nathan Jamo, a tree Bragdon was dragging snagged on another and caused the 1953 Farmall tractor to overturn.

Bragdon was trapped under the tractor for more than two hours in 15 degree temperatures until he was finally able to call a family member by cell phone.

The Greene Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene, freed Bragdon, and transported him to an awaiting Lifeflight helicopter.  Bragdon is being treated for internal injuries at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Trooper Jamo said the chain being used to haul the logs was attached too high to the rear of the tractor and caused it to flip end over end.
