Girl scouts have re-invented themselves if you will and brought their cookies sales effort into more current times by offering cookies for sale on line,

This in an effort to reach buyers where they buy and to also help educate Girl Scouts on internet commerce. It certainly isn’t going away, so the more the girls know the better for their future. Call it education.

But for us old school buyers who love to see the face of the Girl Scouts selling us the cookies and talking about what they are working on or what they are raising the money to do, it's our time.

Now in an effort to continue to help Girl Scouts and their social skills, it is time that the Girl scouts will be outside stores or in malls, at their tables selling the cookies in person.

Who doesn’t love the thrill of a young lady closing the deal with the buyer of a box of thin mints.

That builds social skills.

Okay numerous boxes of cookies.

And run a google search some time on how so many successful women in our history were indeed Girl Scouts in their youth. There are so many positives that come from being a Girl Scout.

Michelle Carr has led Girl Scout troops seemingly, forever. She mentioned Taylor Swift was a Girl Scout and gives the organization credit for developing her personality.
