Friday Marks the Start of Absentee Voting in Maine

Will you be voting absentee in this year's Election in Maine?

Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th, and lots of folks will be unable to make it to the polls, so they often opt to vote via absentee ballot. Voters in Maine will get their chance to cast their vote starting this Friday when the absentee ballots will be available at town offices around the state.

If voting absentee is for you, you have until the 1st of November to request yours. According to Maine State law, voters don't need to give any special reason to request an absentee ballot.
