Farms from across Aroostook County are coming together to showcase regional agricultural products.

On Saturday, October 26th, 22 farms from as far as Smyrna Mills and New Canada have reserved their space at the Farmers Festival Market at the Micmac Farms Complex in Caribou.

This is the first event of the Festival Market Series featuring local musical talents Camille, Violinist Steve Boody, and Elyse Kiehn.

The festival is free of charge and the public will have the opportunity to speak directly with local food producers about the methods in which their foods are being raised.

Guests can tour Micmac Farms 34,000-gallon brook trout hatchery that is located onsite. Hatchery tours will be ongoing through the duration of the Farmers Festival Market. Guests will also enjoy live musical entertainment, samples, coffee, and hot lunch. Everyone is welcome.
