Since Sunday night, nearly 26,000 customers have had service restored; we expect to have a majority of the remaining 4,000 back on by late this evening.

In addition to doubling our capacity of line workers and field crews, personnel from across the company have been providing assistance answering phones in the Customer Service Center.

Meanwhile, the company is monitoring the weather forecast closely and will make both staffing and resource adjustments as conditions warrant to be sure we are positioned to restore any new power outages safely and as quickly as possible.

Customers are reminded to always stay clear of downed power lines or a tree in contact with a line. Also the public is urged to use caution and move over, when possible, if approaching utility crews working on roadways.

Finally, customers who use generators are reminded to ensure they are used in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines.

Customers may report outages or ask questions by calling our Customer Service Center at (207) 973-2020 or 1-855-EMERA11 (1-855-363-7211). You may also follow us on Twitter at @emerame

Estimated Time of Service Restoration: Washington & Hancock Counties by 10 PM tonight. (Additional outages and slippery travel conditions caused by the winter storm may further delay these times).
