Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week is ensuring the public doesn't disturb the Fundy Atlantic Salmon. This is a critical time in their life cycle.
According to Sgt. Tammy Ward, Provincial Police Coordinator with N.B. Crime Stoppers, Fundy National Park, and its sponsors are currently releasing hundreds of wild, endangered, inner Bay of Fundy Atlantic Salmon.
With rivers crossing jurisdictional boundaries and the value of salmon being high, a collaboration of six law enforcement agencies will be monitoring the rivers.
