Maine’s Maple Syrup producers will be showcasing their operations and their products this Sunday, March 26. Some will be open both Saturday and Sunday. If you've never been to a sugarhouse and seen how maple syrup or other maple products are made, then you've been missing out.

Most sugarhouses offer free maple syrup samples and demonstrations on how pure Maine maple syrup is made. A lot offer activities for the entire family and maple products are usually on sale, as well.

There are six maple producers in Aroostook County, according to the Maine Maple Producers Association:.Northwoods Nectar in Eagle Lake, Rural Pride in Woodland, Emma's Maine in Presque Isle, The Maple Moose in Easton, Bradbury Maple Farms in Bridgewater and Spring Break Maple and Honey in Symyrna Mills.

Gather up the family and make an outing of it and get yourself some sweet while you're at it.
