The upcoming Country Rising benefit concert has expanded its focus -- and its lineup. The upcoming show will focus on raising money for Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting victims, in addition to giving to those affected by recent hurricanes.

Via a press release, Country Rising organizers have announced that the money raised from the event will be donated to the Country Rising Fund of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The fund was originally established to support initiatives that are helping those affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Jose and Maria in Texas, Florida and the Caribbean, but it will now also benefit Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting victims.

"In the course of rebuilding lives disrupted by these devastating events, there are immediate needs and there also will be long-term needs," the press release explains. "This fund will strategically support both as they emerge."
